WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT?
"Giclée" prints (pronounced jhee-clay) are a commercial
reproduction using pigment-based ink made from a high quality,
state-of-the-art ink jet printers. The print is extremely sharp
and has a significantly higher archival rating than offset lithographs
or non-pigment-based giclées. The potential life-span is 150
years. It is printed on heavyweight, museum quality paper.
As with any artwork, it is not wise to put it in direct sunlight.
As an extra precaution against fading, you can frame it with glass or
plexiglass that blocks UV rays. |
Artwork cannot be reproduced in full or in
part without the permission of the Artist.
